The pandemic is not over yet, new normal and vaccine doesn’t mean we can ignore what female health workers actually need because they are still in front-line of coping with this pandemic. Within the COVID-19, gender equality is critical aspect and need to be considered in every aspect including in healthcare regulation. There are legal protection for female health workers in Indonesia, but there’s no law providing special treatment for female health workers or at least has been prepared with a gender equality perspective despite all the risk and women’s domination in this Industry.
